Due Date

Today is the day I've been waiting for for 9 months. My DUE DATE!!! FINALLY!! However, I'm discovering very quickly that this means absolutely nothing. Don't get me wrong, I know babies are late all the time, especially the first one, so I wouldn't have been expecting baby Jack today or sooner, except that more than one of my doctors predicted he would come early, so for the past two weeks or so I've been thinking, "any day now, and day now..." Clearly they were mistaken since we still have no baby. I'm trying to be patient, and stay busy. I finished my first (and possibly my last) sewing project, the crib bedding. M mom and I started making it over Christmas and I did the crib bumpers this past week. Despite the frustration and near under-my-breath swearing, it's finally done, and I'm proud of myself to say the least :)

As of Monday I was 3 cm dilated, and he stripped my membranes (sorry if that was a little too much information for some of you). But this was another process that was supposed to increase my chances of going into labor before my due date. Oh well, he'll come when it's meant to be!! And I still have about 11 hours for him to be born on time, right??

Your bedding is adorable! And I'm sorry you're having to wait so long!! My dr. induces on the due date which didn't work too well for me with Tyler since I ended up in c section...so count your blessings! Alright, alright, I'm a huge pro c section person so I LOVED it...but still. Hang in there!! Can't wait to see pics of the little guy!!

I didn't even know you looked at my blog! Yay! I have another friend to add! I know what you mean with the waiting. Everyone said Asher would come two weeks early, and he came right on time. Hang in there! Heaven knows there will be times when you wish he hadn't come quite yet. :o) But it's all worth it in the end!! Good luck with everything! I am so excited for you!
